WHAS grant to KHP Foundation

The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and WHAS Crusade for Children have awarded grants to the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation which will allow for the purchase of a wheelchair accessible golf cart.

In an article titled "Sculpture at Horse Park to be spiffed up for Man o’ War’s 100th birthday," posted on kentucky.com, the Lexington Herald-Leader featured the Kentucky Horse Park's initiative to repair the park's 68-year-old bronze sculpture of Man o’ War.

The Kentucky Horse Park’s International Museum of the Horse has created a cemetery tour to share some of the fascinating history of the park’s historic grounds in a brand new way. Never told before, this limited tour takes visitors around the grounds by shuttle on each Friday night in October, at 5 p.m.

Pet Connection Pet Art

Dr. Marty Becker, Kim Campbell Thornton, and Mikkel Becker of Pet Connection recently published an article titled "Pet Art" that includes the Kentucky Horse Park's International Museum of the Horse.

The article covers eight different museums from around the country that feature animal-related art.
