Clayton Woosley Hall of Fame Reining Show

Event Description: 

The Clayton Woosley Hall of Fame Reining Show is a reining show named after NRHA Hall of Famer Clayton Woosley. The show is put on by the Kentucky Reining Horse Association and is included with general Kentucky Horse Park admission. (No additional ticket is necessary.) The show should start at 7:30 Friday through Sunday and it will last well into the evening. In addition, the show will feature a variety of vendors selling horse-related products.

KHP Driving Clinic (SOLD OUT)

Dates: 
Saturday, March 11, 2017 - 10:00am to Sunday, March 12, 2017 - 3:00pm
Event Description: 

These are a series of two-day clinics, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am-3pm. The second day builds upon skills learned in the first day so you should plan to attend both days. This clinic will be held rain or shine and most of the activities will take place in the Big Barn/Covered Arena. Please dress appropriately for the cold weather.

Beginner horsemen are allowed and encouraged, but you must have basic horsemanship skills in order to participate. On the first day of the clinic there will be a short classroom period to give you the basics followed by learning to harness, ground drive single horses and driving single horses. The second day will be similar and will cover team driving.

Only 12 participants will be allowed per clinic to ensure plenty of hands-on time. Clinic slots are first come first serve. The cost of the clinic is $175/person. Payment must be made when you turn in your application in order to hold your slot in the clinic and is non-refundable.

Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium

KHP Foundation Battle in the Saddle Celebrity Team Penning
