The Kentucky Horse Park, one of the most beautiful equine competition parks in the country, is primed and ready to host your event whether it be equine or non-equine related. Your competitors will enjoy the park-like setting the Kentucky Horse Park has to offer in addition to high caliber facilities, a resort style campground, tourist attractions and the International Museum of the Horse.
The Kentucky Horse Park, while dedicated to the horse, is very multi-dimensional when it comes to hosting events. Our Special Events Office provides event coordinators for both equine and non-equine related events. The Park regularly hosts the following types of events:
The Kentucky Horse Park currently has event stabling for 1,392 horses. The Park also has fifteen horse show or schooling rings and a covered arena that can seat up to 6,000 people with permanent and temporary seating. With the completion of the Alltech Arena in 2009, the Park now has a fully climate-controlled arena that can accommodate equine, as well as non-equine, events year-round. Four regulation polo fields add to the beauty of the Park and are booked every week during the summer with local polo enthusiasts. More information on facilities can be found under the "Facility Rentals" section of this site.
The Park has meeting space available in various sizes and configurations for 30 - 1,000 people occupancy. The Park also has several outdoor wedding sites, such as the area around the Man O'War Statue, which is always very popular for weddings. With over 1,200 acres, the Park can also easily accommodate athletic events such as cross country and 5K run/walks. Plan to book these areas in advance.
