The Kentucky Horse Park is the place to get close to horses of more than 35 different breeds.

Our 1,200-acre equine theme park is home to more than 35 different breeds of horses that perform in our live equine presentations, pull our trolleys, teach our students, represent their breeds, entertain tourists, welcome a friendly pet, and shine for the camera when it comes to photos with our visitors.

This Kentucky Horse Park is home to some of the world’s greatest equine stars of the racetrack and show ring, including Kentucky Derby winner Funny Cide and many more. The park is a great place for people of all ages to take a leisurely, guided trail ride or pony ride, explore wonderful museums, learn about the rich history of the horse, and experience the beauty, athleticism and appeal of this extremely important and beloved animal up close.
