Praise for the Park

Over the years, we have received many warm and wonderful notes from park patrons, so we have decided to create some space on our website where we may display them. Read and enjoy! We certainly did. Thanks to all who have taken the time to write to us during our 35-year history. We certainly appreciate your continued support.

"Last night was awesome. Nothing but good complements on the tour, the room, the set-up, the museum and last but not least, the food. All of you guys put your best foot forward, showing what Kentucky is all about and made last night a complete success. So again a big THANKS." --J.L. (Richmond, KY)

"The Horse Farm Tour with Shawn was superb. Couldn't have been better." --V.S. (Lexington, KY)

"Thanks for all your help yesterday! You did a great job setting things up and making sure all our needs were met." --A.C. (Lexington, KY)

Subject: Horse Park/Unique Horse Farm Tours

Thoroughly enjoyed the horse park. Man o' War area is outstanding. Unique Horse Farm Tour with Shaun was a highlight of the trip. His knowledge and wit make the tour special.

As we have all remarked on numerous occasions, our park employees are a great asset and greatly appreciated.

I do want to single out Mark for his assistance with our sponsors and competitors during the KY Reining Cup. He went “above and beyond” and gave remarkable service. Mark helped our sponsors move materials to their respective booth space and was so kind and helpful to our competitors, always with a smile and willing attitude.

It just made me doubly proud that our guests got to see true KY hospitality in action.

Warm regards,

I wanted to thank you and all the staff at the Kentucky Horse Park for a great night of food and entertainment for our Kroger Retail Operations Conference last week. Most folks had never been in the state of KY before, so they really enjoyed seeing one of our Kentucky traditions. Many of our attendees also told me that our dinner was their favorite meal of the week.

Ref: Scott County Farm Bureau Ag Adventure Day

Dear Sir or Madam,

On behalf of Scott County Farm Bureau Federation I want to express our gratitude for allowing us to use the Alltech facility for our annual Ag Adventure Day on April 19. We had eight hundred third graders from all Scott County schools who enjoyed Ag Adventure Day. The teachers were delighted with the learning experience afforded their pupils. Many of the children and teachers were in the Alltech Arena for the first time and were so impressed with the facility. Your cooperation made the day a rousing success. We hope to visit your arena next year for 2014 Ag Adventure Day. Scott County Farm Bureau looks forward to co-oping with you again in our annual endeavor.

Dear Mr. S.W.,

I was on your delightful tour last Thursday, March 28. My husband and I enjoyed this truly unique tour immensely.

Also, thank you so much for prodding me to give a peppermint to the "sleepy horse." I was a bit nervous but am happy to have had the experience.

As we left and I shook hands with you, you kindly presented me with a wonderful souvenir in the form of a cap with the name of Jazil. I shall wear it often in remembrance of a lovely day and a very special, very knowledgeable gentleman.

Be well.

Kind regards,
Toronto, Canada
